5. Use of cookies

We use so-called cookies on different pages to make visiting our website attractive and allow the use of particular functions, particularly if a Sportograf user account is used. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your terminal. Some of the cookies used by us are deleted after the end of the browser session – i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies).

Other cookies remain on your terminal and enable us – or our partner companies – to recognise your browser on your next visit (so-called persistent cookies).

You can set up your browser so that you are informed about the placing of cookies and can decide whether to accept them on an individual basis, or you can exclude the acceptance of cookies generally or in particular cases. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

6. Use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”), for the pseudonymised analysis of our web services.

Google Analytics also uses cookies that are saved on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information created by the cookie about your use of this website will usually be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and saved there.

In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address is first abbreviated by Google within a member state of the European Union or in other contracting states of the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be sent to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases. IP anonymisation is activated on this website. Google will use this information on behalf of this website’s operator to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports about website activities and provide further services to the website operator connected with website and internet use.

The IP address transmitted from your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being stored by setting up your browser software accordingly; however, we would point out that in this case you may not be able to fully use all of the functions of this website. In addition, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser-plugin at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

You can also set up your browser so that no data are transmitted to Google servers (e.g. by installing add-ons such as NoScript or Ghostery for Firefox.)

As an alternative to browser add-ons, or within browsers on mobile devices, please click on this link to prevent data collection within this website by Google Analytics in future (the opt-out only works in the browser and only for this domain). This saves an opt-out cookie on your device. If you delete your cookies from this browser, you will need to click on this link again.

We offer you the possibility of registering for our services using the “Login with Facebook” function (so-called Facebook Connect). In order to register, you will be transferred to the Facebook page on which you can register with your user details. Doing this will link your Facebook profile and our services. This means that we will automatically receive the following information from Facebook: public friends list, profile picture, name, email address, date of birth, language […]

We only use your name, your email address, […] out of this data. These details are necessary to identify you for the purpose of entering into the contract.
